Bad Brains - Black Dots

I gotta' say that the Bad Brains have to be one of the best punk bands from the hardcore scene. I can't find much to say about em' other than they are raw as shit. Anyways, here's an album that the brains' recorded at Inner Ear Studios in 1979, which at the time was in Don Zientara's basement. Pretty raw.

Beastie Boys - Some Old Bullshit

The early Beasties came up forward with some real hardcore back in the 80's when they opened to bands like black flag and the misfits. Check it out yourselves. This is a compilation that came out in 1994. Enjoy.

Ice and the Iced - Drunk at The Duke

Ice and the Iced are an Italian punk band and are a little bit on the underground. They recently (2006) came out with an LP with Hate Records featuring the 10 songs from a 1979 session at the Duke in Italy, along with original tracks from the Wicked Wolves E.P. Only 500 copies were made and I got a hold of one, so I decided to rip it myself and get you guys a hold of it. The quality ain't the best but shit, its punk rock not classical.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Welcome to combat rock and more tunes for freedumb. I am happy to say that I created this blog to spread out my opinions and beliefs through out the net' and some tunes here and there. Maybe you'll like em and maybe you won't but over all, they won't be to shabby and I know you won't be disappointed. Anyways, I would like to make my first post as a hands down honor to a band whom I consider very inspirational and revolutionary: The Clash.
